Within a span of 12 months, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has had a tremendous impact on the global economy, public health and daily life. Drug trafficking relies heavily on legal trade to camouflage its activities and on individuals being able to distribute drugs to consumers. Accordingly, measures implemented by Governments to counter the COVID-19 pandemic have the potential to affect illegal drug markets. (Public version)
